मिथुन लग्न में दसवें भाव में बुध बृहस्पति की मीन राशि में बैठ जाता है और मीन राशि में बुध नीच है। इसलिए इस प्रभाव से व्यक्ति को अपनी उन्नति के लिए कठोर शारीरिक श्रम करना पड़ता है। पिता की ओर से किसी प्रकार की सहायता मिले ये जरूरी नहीं। बल्कि, यूँ कहना चाहिए कि पिता की ओर से अल्प सुख ही मिलता है। ऐसा व्यक्ति जीवन के दूसरे क्षेत्रों में भी बहुत ज्यादा सफलता प्राप्त करने से वंचित रह जाता है।

हमारे बहुत से प्राचीन ग्रंथों में, यहाँ बैठे बुध के फल आमतौर पर अच्छे ही कहे गए हैं। उन फलों का वर्णन करने से पहले ये देखना जरूरी होगा कि यहाँ बैठा हुआ बुध शुभ है या अशुभ। लाल किताब के अनुसार यदि बुध खराब हो तो उसको निशानियाँ हैं कि उस व्यक्ति की बेटी, बहन या बुआ पर बुरा असर पड़ता है। उसके दाँतों में तकलीफ हो सकती है। दोस्तों से बिना मतलब झगड़ा हो सकता है। कई दफा जब वह गुस्से में हो तो उसकी जुबान तुतलाने का डर भी रहता है। यहाँ पर शुभ बुध की निशानियाँ ये हैं- आदमी को अपने कारोबार में कोई विशेष धक्का नहीं लगता तथा बुआ, बहन तथा बेटी के लिए उसका फल अच्छा रहता है। यदि हम बुध को इस दृष्टि से जाँच लें तो दूसरे प्राचीन ज्योतिषियों के वर्णन किए हुए फलों को शायद हम और अच्छी तरह से समझ पाएँगे।

चमत्कार चिंतामणि में जिक्र आता है कि यहाँ बैठा हुआ बुध व्यक्ति को राजकीय अधिकारी बनाता है। ये फल एक सीमा तक ही ठीक होता है। यह जरूरी नहीं कि वह व्यक्ति राजकीय अधिकारी ही बने। वह अपने व्यापार में भी प्रगति कर सकता है। क्योंकि, यदि हम ध्यान से देखें तो राजकीय अधिकारी होने के लिए सूर्य का बहुत महत्त्व होता है। काल-पुरुष कुंडली के अनुसार ये बुध शनि की मकर राशि में है, जिसका राजकीय अधिकारी होने से कोई बहुत नजदीकी संबंध नहीं। इसी ग्रंथ में आगे लिखा हुआ है कि पिता की संपत्ति के कारण ऐसे व्यक्ति को समाज में सम्मान मिलता है। यहाँ पर सम्मान मिले या न मिले, किंतु पिता की संपत्ति का लाभ प्राप्त होने की संभावना रहती है। इसका कारण यह है कि यहाँ पर काल-पुरुष कुंडली के अनुसार शनि की मकर राशि आती है जो सम्पत्ति की कारक है और बुध तथा शनि के अच्छे संबंध होने के कारण इस तरह का फल मिलने की संभावना काफी हद तक बढ़ जाती है।

आर्य ग्रंथकारों के अनुसार, ऐसा व्यक्ति बड़े-बूढ़ों का हित करने वाला होता है। यह बात बहुत हद तक ठीक है, क्योंकि काल-पुरुष कुंडली के अनुसार बुध शनि की मकर राशि में आता है और शनि बड़े-बूढ़ों का कारक है। मेरे विचार में यदि ऐसा व्यक्ति बुजुर्गों की सेवा करे, तो ये उसके जीवन में शुभ योगदान ही देता है।

यहाँ बैठा हुआ बुध व्यापार के लिए अच्छा फल देता है। विशेषकर मिथुन लग्न वालों के लिए ऐसे व्यक्ति को कई प्रकार की भाषाओं के जानने की इच्छा भी होती है, क्योंकि यहाँ बृहस्पति की राशि में होने से बृहस्पति का कुछ प्रभाव बुध में जरूर शामिल हो जाता है। ऐसे व्यक्ति की स्मरणशक्ति काफी अच्छी होती है और वह प्रसंग के अनुकूल बोलने की योग्यता रखता है। गणित और भाषाशास्त्र में प्रवीण होना चाहे तो यह उसके लिए कोई मुश्किल बात नहीं होती। दूसरे काम जैसे दलाली, लेखन, साहूकारी से उसकी आर्थिक स्थिति में अच्छा फल मिल सकता है।

कुछ प्राचीन ग्रंथों में जिक्र आता है कि ऐसे व्यक्ति को अट्ठाईसवें वर्ष में आँख के रोग होने की संभावना होती है। इसी तरह अट्ठारहवीं सदी के एक और ज्योतिषी श्री गोपाल रत्नाकर का मत है कि ऐसे व्यक्ति को आँखों के रोग होते हैं, लेकिन गोपाल रत्नाकर ने आयु का जिक्र नहीं किया कि किस आयु में ऐसा हो सकता है। मेरा अपना विचार है कि यहाँ बैठे हुए बुध से आँखों के रोग हों ये जरूरी नहीं है। क्योंकि आँखों का विशेष संबंध केवल कुंडली के दूसरे और बारहवें भाव से होता है। मिथुन लग्न वालों के लिए दसवें घर में मीन राशि में बैठे हुए बुध से बहुत से लोगों का संबंध समाचार-पत्रों से या संपादक होना भी देखा गया है। ऐसे लोग प्रकाशक और किसी रूप में स्टेशनरी आदि के काम से भी लाभ प्राप्त कर सकते हैं। यदि हम आधुनिक संदर्भ में देखें, तो यहाँ बैठे बुध के कारण कंप्यूटर, टेलीविजन आदि की शिक्षा या इससे संबंधित कामों में भी बुध शुभ असर देता है।

प्राचीन ग्रंथ 'गर्ग संहिता' के अनुसार यहाँ बुध होने से व्यक्ति श्रेष्ठ बुद्धि वाला तथा धैर्य से युक्त होता है। वास्तव में, यदि हम श्रेष्ठ बुद्धि के स्थान पर चालाक बुद्धि वाला कहें या होशियार बुद्धि वाला कहें तो मेरे विचार से यह ज्यादा ठीक शब्द होगा। हाँ, व्यक्ति का धैर्यशाली होना ठीक प्रतीत होता है। इसका कारण यह है कि काल-पुरुष कुंडली के अनुसार यहाँ बुध शनि की मकर राशि में आकर अपनी जल्दबाजी तथा हर काम को जल्दी करने की आदत को रात्रि के प्रभाव के कारण कम कर देता है। इसलिए उसमें काफी हद तक धैर्य भाव उत्पन्न होता है और दूसरा मिथुन लग्न वालों के लिए मीन राशि में बैठने के कारण बृहस्पति का प्रभाव भी कुछ हद तक शामिल हो जाता है जिसके कारण बुध में सहनशक्ति बढ़ने की संभावना पैदा होती है।

वाली लाल किताब में दसवें घर के बध को 'खुश्क घास, शराब-कबाब, नास्तिक या भूत की खुराक तथा लेटा हुआ अण्डा' कहकर इसकी एक प्रकार से निंदा ही को है। लेकिन, 1952 की बड़ी लाल किताब में यहाँ बैठे बुध को केवल 'खुश गुजराव' यानी खुशी से जीवन व्यतीत करने वाला जी- हुजूरी वाला, दूसरों की चापलूसी करने वाला कहा है। इन दो प्रकार के वर्णनों को हमें ठीक ढंग से समझना होगा। यहाँ पर बैठा हुआ बुध

काल-पुरुष कुंडली के अनुसार शनि के प्रभाव में आकर यदि शराब-कबाब, जो भूत की खुराक समझा जाता है, इसका सेवन करे तो बुध का फल बहुत हद तक खराब हो जाता है। और वह अपने में एक तरह से खुश्क घास ही रह जाता है। ऐसी घास जिसमें कोई तत्व नहीं होता। बड़ी लाल किताब में यहाँ बैठे बुध को जी-हुजूरी या चापलूसी करने वाला कहना ठीक ही लगता है। क्योंकि, काल-पुरुष कुंडली के अनुसार यहाँ शनि की राशि में बैठा हुआ बुध अपने आपमें एक विशेष तरह की चालाकी पैदा कर लेता है। वह अपने बारे में बहुत ज्यादा बातें करने की बजाय दूसरों को खुश रखने की कोशिश करता है और जरूरत से ज्यादा दूसरों की हाँ-में-हाँ मिलाता है और दूसरों के साथ न चाहते हुए भी सहमति प्रकट करने की कोशिश करता है।

इस घर में यदि बुध के साथ बृहस्पति हो तो आदमी के जीवन में खुशहाली रहती है। लेकिन, पिता की ओर से उसके जीवन में कोई विशेष योगदान नहीं होता। कई दफा वह पिता के सुख से वंचित भी रह सकता है।

दसवें घर में बुध के साथ सूर्य का होना आदमी की आर्थिक स्थिति में अच्छा असर देता है। यदि ऐसे हालात में दूसरे घर में शुभ ग्रह हों, तो सूर्य और बुध दोनों का ही बहुत शुभ असर होता है, और यदि दूसरे घर में कोई शत्रु ग्रह हो तो ऐसे आदमी की बदनामी होने का डर भी रहता है या वह खुद ही अपने बहुत से काम अपने गलत फैसलों के कारण बिगाड़ लेता है।

इस घर में बुध के साथ चंद्र का होना उस घर की औरतों और बच्चों के बारे में थोड़ा अशुभ असर ही देता है। ऐसी हालत में, यदि आठवें घर में भी कोई मंदा ग्रह हो तो उस परिवार में अचानक या बुरी तरह से किसी व्यक्ति की मृत्यु होने की संभावना रहती है।

दसवें घर में बुध के साथ शुक्र का होना अच्छा फल देता है। उस आदमी का स्वास्थ्य ठीक रहता है और दूसरे लोग भी उसका सम्मान करते हैं। यहाँ पर भी यदि आठवें घर में कोई अशुभ ग्रह हो तो इन दोनों ग्रहों का फल इतना शुभ नहीं रह पाता।

यहाँ इस घर में बुध के साथ मंगल का होना कोई बुरा फल नहीं देता। क्योंकि, काल-पुरुष कुंडली के अनुसार यहाँ मकर राशि होने से मंगल उच्च का हो जाता है। जो किसी-न-किसी रूप में बुध की सहायता ही करता है।

इस घर में बुध के साथ शनि का होना अच्छा फल देता है। उस व्यक्ति का अपना मकान होना या किसी प्रकार की जायदाद का बढ़ना, ऐसे शुभ फल इस युति से देखने में आते हैं। लेकिन उस व्यक्ति में चालाकी का अंश कुछ हद तक जरूर बढ़ जाता है, और वह चालाकी दूसरों से अपना काम निकलवाने में बहुत सहायता करती है।

Whether respect is gained or not, there is a strong possibility of benefiting from the father’s property. This is because, in the Kalpurush chart, Capricorn (ruled by Saturn) is associated with property, and since Mercury and Saturn have a good relationship, the chances of receiving such results increase considerably.

According to Aryan scholars, such a person benefits and supports elders. This is largely correct because, in the Kalpurush horoscope, Mercury in Capricorn (ruled by Saturn) connects with Saturn, the significator of elders. However, the 1952 edition of the larger Lal Kitab describes it as “a happy life,” someone who flatters others and engages in pleasing behavior. These descriptions must be understood properly. According to the Kalpurush chart, if Mercury under Saturn’s influence indulges in wine and meat (considered impure or spirit-related food), its results become significantly negative, reducing it to “dry grass,” meaning lacking substance. The description in the larger Lal Kitab of Mercury here as a flatterer or sycophant seems appropriate. Under Saturn’s influence, Mercury develops a particular kind of cleverness, speaking less about itself and trying to please others, often agreeing unnecessarily to maintain harmony.

If Mercury is conjunct Jupiter in this house, the person enjoys prosperity, though the father may not contribute significantly to their life, and sometimes the native may lack paternal happiness.

If Mercury is conjunct the Sun in the tenth house, it positively influences financial status. If benefic planets occupy the second house, both Mercury and the Sun give excellent results. However, if a malefic planet is in the second house, there may be a risk of defamation, or the person may spoil their own work due to wrong decisions.

If Mercury is conjunct the Moon here, it gives somewhat unfavorable results regarding the women and children of the household. If a malefic planet is also in the eighth house, there may be a sudden or tragic death in the family.
