●वर्ष 2025 में शारदीय नवरात्रि का पावन पर्व सोमवार, 22 सितंबर से शुरू हो रहा है । इस वर्ष यह पर्व नौ की बजाय दस दिनों का होगा । यह एक अत्यंत शुभ लक्षण है, क्योंकि एक तिथि का बढ़ना अत्यधिक फलदायी माना जाता है। इस बार चतुर्थी तिथि 25 और 26 सितंबर दोनों दिन रहेगी, जिससे पर्व की अवधि में वृद्धि होगी ।
●पंचांग के अनुसार, घटस्थापना (कलश स्थापना) का मुहूर्त प्रतिपदा तिथि 22 सितंबर को देर रात 1:26 बजे से शुरू होकर 23 सितंबर को रात 2:57 बजे तक रहेगी । कलश स्थापना के लिए दो अत्यंत शुभ मुहूर्त हैं:
●प्रातः काल का मुहूर्त: सुबह 6:15 बजे से सुबह 7:46 बजे तक ।
●अभिजीत मुहूर्त: दोपहर 11:55 बजे से 12:43 बजे तक ।
पर्व का समापन 2 अक्टूबर को विजयादशमी के साथ होगा, जिस दिन रावण दहन की परंपरा होती है ।
देवी के वाहन का महत्व
ज्योतिषाचार्य भाग्यराज गुप्त जी बताते है देवी का आगमन और प्रस्थान सप्ताह के उस दिन के अनुसार होता है, जिस दिन नवरात्रि का प्रारंभ होता है । चूँकि इस साल शारदीय नवरात्रि का प्रारंभ सोमवार, 22 सितंबर को हो रहा है, माँ दुर्गा का आगमन गज (हाथी) पर होगा । हाथी पर सवार होकर आना एक अत्यंत शुभ लक्षण माना जाता है । यह पूरे वर्ष सुख-समृद्धि और सौभाग्य का संचार करने का प्रतीक है । इसके विपरीत, प्रस्थान का वाहन मनुष्य है, जो एक अलग प्रतीकात्मक अर्थ रखता है ।
नवरात्रि की उत्पत्ति
●नवरात्रि का पौराणिक आधार महाशक्ति दुर्गा की महासुर महिषासुर पर विजय की कहानी से जुड़ा है । पौराणिक कथा के अनुसार, महिषासुर नामक एक अत्यंत शक्तिशाली दानव था, जिसका जन्म एक ऋषिवर और एक भैंस के मिलन से हुआ था । अपनी कठोर तपस्या से उसने ब्रह्मा से यह वरदान प्राप्त कर लिया था कि उसे कोई भी देवता या पुरुष नहीं मार पाएगा; उसकी मृत्यु केवल एक स्त्री के हाथों से ही संभव थी । इस वरदान के अहंकार में चूर होकर, महिषासुर ने तीनों लोकों पर अत्याचार करना शुरू कर दिया। उसने स्वर्ग पर आक्रमण कर देवताओं को पराजित कर दिया, जिसमें भगवान विष्णु और शिव भी शामिल थे ।
अपनी हार से हताश होकर, सभी देवता ब्रह्मा, विष्णु और महेश के पास सहायता के लिए पहुँचे। अपनी सामूहिक ऊर्जाओं को एक साथ मिलाकर, इन देवताओं ने एक नई, सर्वोच्च नारी शक्ति का निर्माण किया, जिसे दुर्गा कहा गया । इस प्रक्रिया में, प्रत्येक देवता ने अपने विशिष्ट हथियार देवी को प्रदान किए। शिव ने अपना त्रिशूल दिया, विष्णु ने अपना चक्र दिया, वरुण ने शंख दिया, और अन्य देवताओं ने भी अपने-अपने अस्त्र-शस्त्र दिए । हिमवान ने उन्हें सिंह का वाहन भेंट किया । यह प्रतीकात्मक रूप से दर्शाता है कि देवी दुर्गा कोई अलग शक्ति नहीं हैं, बल्कि वे सभी दिव्य शक्तियों का एक एकीकृत और अंतिम रूप हैं ।
इसके बाद, देवी दुर्गा ने अपनी भयंकर गर्जना से महिषासुर के असुरों को युद्ध के लिए चुनौती दी । नौ दिनों तक चले इस भयंकर युद्ध में, महिषासुर ने विभिन्न मायावी रूप धारण कर देवी को छलने का प्रयास किया। कभी वह एक क्रूर शेर बनता, तो कभी एक विशाल हाथी । अंत में, नौवें दिन, देवी ने अपने चक्र से महिषासुर का सिर काट दिया, जिससे धर्म की विजय हुई और ब्रह्मांडीय व्यवस्था पुनः स्थापित हुई ।
नवरात्रि में जिन नौ देवियों की पूजा होती है, वे कोई अलग-अलग देवता नहीं हैं, बल्कि वे एक ही महाशक्ति के नौ अलग-अलग स्वरूप हैं । ये नौ स्वरूप मानव चेतना के विभिन्न आध्यात्मिक चरणों और गुणों का प्रतिनिधित्व करते हैं, जो हमें अज्ञानता से मुक्ति की ओर ले जाते हैं।

प्रथम दिन एक पाठ.. प्रथम अध्याय..

तीसरे दिन एक पाठ.. चतुर्थ अध्याय..
चौथे दिन चार पाठ.. पंचम षष्ठ सप्तम व अष्टम अध्याय..
पांचवें दिन दो पाठ.. नवम् व दशम अध्याय.. छठे दिन एक पाठ.. 11वां अध्याय.. सातवें दिन दो पाठ.. द्वादश एवं त्रयोदश अध्याय.. इस तरह पाठ करने पर सप्तशती की एक आवृत्ति होती है.. आठवें दिन हवन तथा नवें दिन पूर्णाहुति करें..
●शैलपुत्री (पहला दिन): हिमालय की पुत्री, ये देवी किसी भी अनुभव के शिखर पर स्थित दिव्यता का प्रतीक हैं। वे जीवन में स्थिरता और समृद्धि लाती हैं ।
●ब्रह्मचारिणी (दूसरा दिन): यह स्वरूप गहन तपस्या और शुद्ध, अछूती ऊर्जा का प्रतीक है। उनकी पूजा से साधक को स्वतः ही सिद्धियाँ प्राप्त होती हैं ।
●चंद्रघंटा (तीसरा दिन): यह रूप मन को मोहित करने वाली सुंदरता का प्रतीक है। ये सभी प्राणियों में मौजूद सौंदर्य का स्रोत हैं ।
●कूष्माण्डा (चौथा दिन): इन्हें प्राण ऊर्जा का पुंज माना जाता है, जो सूक्ष्मतम जगत से लेकर विशालतम ब्रह्मांड तक फैली हुई है। ये निराकार होकर भी सभी रूपों को जन्म देती हैं ।
●स्कंदमाता (पांचवां दिन): ये संपूर्ण ब्रह्मांड की संरक्षिका और सभी ज्ञान प्रणालियों की जननी हैं ।
●कात्यायनी (छठा दिन): चेतना के द्रष्टा पहलू से निकलने वाली ऊर्जा का प्रतिनिधित्व करती हैं, जो सहज ज्ञान की शक्ति लाती हैं। इन्हें मन की शक्ति भी कहा गया है, और रुक्मिणी ने भगवान कृष्ण को पति के रूप में पाने के लिए इनकी आराधना की थी ।

The Origin of Navratri
The mythological basis of Navratri is rooted in the story of Maha Shakti Durga's victory over the demon Mahishasura. According to the ancient tale, Mahishasura was an extremely powerful demon born from the union of a sage and a buffalo. Through severe penance, he received a boon from Brahma that no god or man could kill him; his death was possible only at the hands of a woman. Arrogant from this boon, Mahishasura began terrorizing the three worlds. He attacked Swarga (heaven) and defeated the gods, including Lord Vishnu and Shiva.
Dejected by their defeat, all the gods went to Brahma, Vishnu, and Mahesh for help. Combining their collective energies, these deities created a new, supreme feminine power, who was named Durga. In this process, each god gave Devi their specific weapon. Shiva gave his trishul (trident), Vishnu gave his chakra (discus), Varuna gave his conch shell, and other gods also provided their divine weapons. Himavan gifted her the lion as her mount. This symbolically shows that Goddess Durga is not a separate power but the unified and ultimate form of all divine powers.
Following this, Goddess Durga challenged Mahishasura's demons to battle with her fierce roar. During the nine-day long, intense war, Mahishasura tried to deceive the Goddess by taking on various magical forms, sometimes appearing as a cruel lion and at other times as a giant elephant. Finally, on the ninth day, Devi beheaded Mahishasura with her chakra, leading to the victory of righteousness and the re-establishment of cosmic order.
The Nine Forms of the Goddess
The nine goddesses worshipped during Navratri are not different deities but nine distinct forms of the one great Shakti. These nine forms represent various spiritual stages and qualities of human consciousness, leading us from ignorance towards liberation.
