बहुत समय पहले की बात है। एक छोटे से गांव से कुछ लोग तीर्थयात्रा के लिए निकल पड़े। उस समय यात्रा करना आज की तरह आसान नहीं था। लोग लंबी दूरी पैदल तय करते थे, रास्ते में रुकते, विश्राम करते और फिर आगे बढ़ते। उसी समूह में एक पति-पत्नी भी थे। दोनों के मन में भगवान के दर्शन की गहरी श्रद्धा और उत्साह था।
कई दिनों की पैदल यात्रा के बाद वे लोग एक बड़ी नदी के किनारे पहुंचे। नदी पार किए बिना आगे का रास्ता नहीं था। किनारे पर एक छोटी-सी नाव खड़ी थी, जिसमें बैठकर यात्रियों को नदी पार करनी थी। सभी यात्री नाव में बैठ गए। नाव धीरे-धीरे नदी के बीच की ओर बढ़ने लगी।
अचानक मौसम बदल गया। देखते ही देखते आसमान पर काले बादल छा गए। तेज हवाएँ चलने लगीं और कुछ ही क्षणों में भयंकर तूफान आ गया। नदी की लहरें उफान मारने लगीं। छोटी-सी नाव डगमगाने लगी मानो कभी भी पलट सकती हो।
नाव में बैठे सभी लोग घबरा गए। कोई भगवान का नाम जपने लगा, कोई एक-दूसरे को पकड़कर खड़ा हो गया। औरतें डर के मारे अपने पतियों का हाथ कसकर पकड़ रही थीं। चारों ओर चीख-पुकार मच गई थी। ऐसा लग रहा था जैसे अब जीवन का अंत निकट है।
लेकिन उस अफरा-तफरी के बीच एक आदमी बिल्कुल शांत खड़ा था। वह न घबराया, न किसी को पकड़कर खड़ा हुआ। उसके चेहरे पर अजीब-सी शांति थी। उसकी पत्नी भी यह देखकर हैरान थी कि जब सब लोग डर से कांप रहे हैं, तब उसका पति इतना निश्चिंत कैसे खड़ा है।
कुछ देर बाद तूफान धीरे-धीरे शांत हो गया और नाव सुरक्षित किनारे की ओर बढ़ने लगी। खतरा टल जाने पर उसकी पत्नी ने उससे पूछा,
“जब सब लोग इतने डर गए थे, तब आपको बिल्कुल भी डर नहीं लगा? आप इतने शांत कैसे रहे?”
उस आदमी ने बिना कुछ बोले नाव में पड़ी एक तलवार उठा ली और अपनी पत्नी की ओर इशारा करते हुए बोला, “अगर मैं अभी इस तलवार से तुम्हारा सिर काट दूं तो?”
यह सुनकर उसकी पत्नी हंस पड़ी और बोली, “आप कैसी बातें कर रहे हैं? आप ऐसा कभी नहीं कर सकते। मैं आपकी पत्नी हूं, आप मुझे नुकसान नहीं पहुंचा सकते।”
उस आदमी ने मुस्कुराते हुए कहा,
“जब तुम्हें मुझ पर इतना विश्वास है कि मैं तुम्हें नुकसान नहीं पहुंचाऊंगा, तो मुझे उस परमात्मा पर उससे भी ज्यादा विश्वास है। वही हमें इस संसार में लाया है, वही हमारी रक्षा करता है। जब तक उसकी इच्छा नहीं होगी, तब तक हमें कोई हानि नहीं पहुंचा सकता।”
उसकी बात सुनकर पत्नी की आंखों में श्रद्धा और समझ की चमक आ गई।

जब मन में अटूट विश्वास और आत्मविश्वास होता है, तब सबसे बड़ी विपत्ति भी हमें डिगा नहीं सकती। जीवन की हर परिस्थिति में परमात्मा पर भरोसा रखिए, क्योंकि सच्चा विश्वास ही मन को शांत और मजबूत बनाता है।

🍁 The Power of Unshakable Faith 🍁
A long time ago, a group of people from a small village set out on a pilgrimage. In those days, traveling was not as easy as it is today. People would walk long distances, stop along the way to rest, and then continue their journey. Among them was a husband and wife, both filled with deep devotion and enthusiasm to see God.
After several days of walking, they reached the bank of a large river. They could not continue without crossing it. A small boat was waiting at the shore to take the यात्रियों across. Everyone boarded the boat, and it slowly started moving toward the middle of the river.
Suddenly, the weather changed. Dark clouds covered the sky, strong winds began to blow, and within moments, a fierce storm arose. The river waves became violent, and the small boat started shaking as if it could overturn at any time.
All the passengers panicked. Some began chanting God’s name, others held onto each other for support. Women tightly clutched their husbands in fear. There was chaos and shouting all around. It felt as if the end of life was near.
But in the middle of all this panic, one man stood completely calm. He neither panicked nor tried to hold onto anyone. There was a strange peace on his face. His wife was surprised to see that while everyone else was trembling in fear, her husband remained so composed.
After some time, the storm gradually calmed down, and the boat safely moved toward the shore. Once the danger had passed, his wife asked him,
“Everyone was so scared, but you didn’t seem afraid at all. How were you so calm?”
Without saying a word, the man picked up a sword lying in the boat and pointed it toward his wife, saying,
“What if I cut off your head with this sword right now?”
Hearing this, his wife laughed and replied,
“What are you saying? You could never do that. I am your wife—you would never harm me.”
The man smiled and said,
“If you have so much faith in me that I won’t harm you, then I have even greater faith in God. He is the one who brought us into this world, and He is the one who protects us. Until it is His will, no harm can come to us.”
Hearing this, his wife’s eyes filled with understanding and devotion.

When we have unshakable faith and self-confidence, even the greatest difficulties cannot shake us. Trust in God in every situation of life, because true faith is what makes the mind calm and strong.
