कहानी का सार:
वृंदावन के पास एक मंदिर में पुजारी का बेटा, नन्हा 'कान्हा' रहता था। उसके लिए ठाकुर जी केवल एक प्रतिमा नहीं, बल्कि उसके सखा और बड़े भाई थे। एक दिन पुजारी जी की अनुपस्थिति में, नन्हे कान्हा ने ठाकुर जी को माखन का भोग लगाया। जब प्रतिमा ने माखन नहीं खाया, तो बालक का हृदय टूट गया। वह रोते हुए बोला, "क्या मैं गरीब हूँ इसलिए आप नहीं खा रहे? अगर आप नहीं खाएंगे, तो मैं भी कभी कुछ नहीं खाऊँगा।"
बालक की निश्छल पुकार सुनकर भगवान स्वयं एक बालक के रूप में प्रकट हुए और नन्हे कान्हा के साथ बैठकर बड़े चाव से माखन खाया। जब पुजारी जी लौटे, तो वे यह देख हैरान रह गए कि वर्षों की तपस्या से जो उन्हें न मिला, वह उनके पुत्र की मासूमियत ने पा लिया।
सीख:
भगवान को पाने के लिए बड़े अनुष्ठानों की नहीं, बल्कि उस सच्चे 'भाव' की ज़रूरत होती है जो एक बच्चे के हृदय में होता है।

The Story:
Deep in a village near Vrindavan, a young boy named Kanha lived with his father, the temple priest. To little Kanha, the deity wasn't a stone idol but his "Sakha" (friend). One day, his father left him in charge of offering the Bhog (food).
Pure-hearted Kanha offered fresh butter and waited for the Lord to eat. When the idol didn't move, the child began to cry, thinking he wasn't "good enough." In his innocent grief, he declared he wouldn't eat until the Lord accepted his offering. Moved by this selfless "Bhaav," Lord Krishna manifested as a child, sat beside him, and ate the butter with joy.
