काला-गोरा भैरव: शिव के दो स्वरूप, एक विनाशक तो दूसरा पालक
तंत्र और भक्ति के जगत में भगवान भैरव के अनेक रूप हैं, लेकिन काला और गोरा भैरव की जोड़ी सबसे रहस्यमयी और शक्तिशाली मानी जाती है। अक्सर भक्त इनके बीच के भेद और इनकी कथा को जानने के लिए उत्सुक रहते हैं।
आज जानते हैं इनके अद्भुत रहस्य और कथा के बारे में:
काला भैरव (विनाशक स्वरूप/तामसिक स्वरूप):
यह भगवान शिव का रौद्र और तामसिक स्वरूप है। इनकी उत्पत्ति शिव के क्रोध से हुई थी।
• प्रतीक: यह मृत्यु, भय और समय (काल) के देवता हैं।
• कथा: जब ब्रह्मा जी को अपने सृजन पर अहंकार हो गया था, तब शिव जी के क्रोध से 'काल भैरव' प्रकट हुए और उन्होंने ब्रह्मा जी का पांचवा सिर काट दिया। इस कारण उन पर 'ब्रह्महत्या' का पाप लगा। यह स्वरूप उग्र है, मदिरा का भोग ग्रहण करता है और शत्रुओं/बुरी शक्तियों का नाश करता है।
गोरा भैरव (बटुक/सात्विक स्वरूप):
यह भगवान भैरव का सौम्य, सात्विक और बाल स्वरूप है। इन्हें 'बटुक भैरव' भी कहा जाता है।
• प्रतीक: यह अभय, शांति और सिद्धि प्रदान करने वाले हैं।
• कथा: पौराणिक मान्यताओं के अनुसार, जब काल भैरव को ब्रह्महत्या के पाप से मुक्ति मिली (काशी में), तो उनका क्रोध शांत हुआ और वे सौम्य हो गए। गोरा भैरव दूध, खीर और मिष्ठान का भोग ग्रहण करते हैं। जहाँ काला भैरव भूतों-प्रेतों को नियंत्रित करते हैं, वहीं गोरा भैरव अपने भक्तों की रिद्धि-सिद्धि और सुरक्षा का ध्यान रखते हैं।

In the worlds of Tantra and devotion, Lord Bhairav has many forms, but the pair of Kala Bhairav and Gora Bhairav is considered the most mysterious and powerful. Devotees are often eager to understand the difference between them and the stories associated with these forms.
Let us explore their extraordinary secrets and legends:
Kala Bhairav (The Destroyer / Tamasic Form)
This is the fierce, wrathful, and tamasic form of Lord Shiva. He manifested from Shiva’s anger.
Symbolism: He is the deity of death, fear, and time (Kaal).
Legend: When Lord Brahma became arrogant about his creation, Kaal Bhairav emerged from Shiva’s fury and severed Brahma’s fifth head. As a result, he incurred the sin of Brahmahatya. This form is extremely fierce, accepts offerings of liquor, and destroys enemies and negative forces.
Gora Bhairav (Batuk / Sattvic Form)
This is the gentle, sattvic, and childlike form of Lord Bhairav, also known as Batuk Bhairav.
Symbolism: He bestows fearlessness, peace, and spiritual attainments (siddhis).
Legend: According to ancient traditions, when Kaal Bhairav was freed from the sin of Brahmahatya (in Kashi), his anger subsided and he became gentle. Gora Bhairav accepts offerings of milk, rice pudding (kheer), and sweets. While Kala Bhairav controls spirits and negative entities, Gora Bhairav protects devotees and grants them prosperity and spiritual accomplishments.
