✋🏻 जीवन का एक कटु सत्य: दुनिया क्या कहेगी? ✋🏻
एक बार एक साधु नदी किनारे पानी पीकर एक पत्थर पर सिर रखकर सो गया।
पनघट पर पनिहारिनों का आना-जाना लगा था।
🗣️ एक ने देखा और कहा- "अरे! साधु हो गया, फिर भी तकिए का मोह नहीं गया। पत्थर का ही सही, लेकिन सर के नीचे रखा तो है।"
साधु ने यह सुना और तुरंत पत्थर फेंक दिया।
🗣️ दूसरी बोली- "कैसा साधु है? अभी तक खीज (गुस्सा) नहीं गई। जरा सी बात पर रोष में आकर तकिया फेंक दिया।"
साधु असमंजस में पड़ गया कि अब क्या करे?
🗣️ तभी तीसरी बोली- "बाबा! यह तो पनघट है, यहाँ तो लोग आते रहेंगे और बोलते ही रहेंगे। अगर तुम हर किसी की बात पर खुद को बदलोगे, तो अपनी साधना कब करोगे?"
✨ लेकिन चौथी पनिहारिन ने बहुत अद्भुत बात कही:
"क्षमा करना बाबा, लेकिन मुझे लगता है कि तुमने सब कुछ छोड़ा, पर अपना 'चित्त' (मन) नहीं छोड़ा। वह अभी भी दुनिया की बातों में उलझा है। दुनिया पाखंडी कहे तो कहे, तुम जैसे भी हो, बस हरिनाम लेते रहो।"
सार यही है: दुनिया का तो काम ही है कहना...
🔸 आप ऊपर देखकर चलोगे तो कहेंगे- "अभिमानी हो गए।"
🔸 नीचे देखोगे तो कहेंगे- "किसी को कुछ समझते ही नहीं।"
🔸 आंखें बंद करोगे तो कहेंगे- "ध्यान का नाटक कर रहा है।"
🔸 चारों ओर देखोगे तो कहेंगे- "इसकी तो निगाह ही नहीं टिकती।"
🔸 और परेशान होकर आंख फोड़ लोगे तो कहेंगे- "किया हुआ भोगना ही पड़ता है।"
निष्कर्ष:
ईश्वर को राजी करना आसान है, लेकिन इस संसार को राजी करना असंभव है!
अगर 'दुनिया क्या कहेगी' इस पर ध्यान दोगे, तो अपना ध्यान कभी ईश्वर में नहीं लगा पाओगे।
👉 अतः कर्म करो, आलोचनाओं की चिंता न करो।

✋🏻 A Bitter Truth of Life: "What Will the World Say?" ✋🏻
Once, a sage drank water by a riverbank, rested his head upon a stone, and fell asleep.
Women carrying water pots were constantly coming and going at the riverbank.
🗣️ One of them noticed him and remarked, "Oh! He has become a sage, yet he still hasn't let go of his attachment to a pillow. Even if it is just a stone, he has still placed something beneath his head."
The sage heard this and immediately cast the stone aside.
🗣️ Another woman spoke up, "What kind of sage is he? He hasn't yet shed his irritability (anger). Over such a trivial matter, he flew into a rage and threw his pillow away."
The sage was left in a quandary, wondering what he should do next.
🗣️ Just then, a third woman spoke, "Baba! This is a public watering place; people will continue to come here, and they will continue to talk. If you keep changing yourself based on every person's opinion, when will you ever find the time to practice your spiritual discipline?"
✨ But the fourth woman made a truly profound observation:
"Forgive me, Baba, but it seems to me that while you have renounced everything else, you have not yet renounced your 'Chitta' (mind). It remains entangled in the chatter of the world. Let the world call you a hypocrite if it wishes; no matter who you are or how you are, simply keep chanting the name of the Lord."
The essence is this: It is the very nature of the world to talk...
🔸 If you walk with your head held high, they will say, "He has become arrogant."
🔸 If you look down at the ground, they will say, "He doesn't consider anyone else to be of any importance."
🔸 If you close your eyes, they will say, "He is merely putting on an act of meditation."
🔸 If you look all around you, they will say, "His gaze is restless; he cannot focus on anything."
🔸 And if, out of sheer frustration, you were to blind yourself, they would say, "One simply has to suffer the consequences of one's own actions."
Conclusion:
It is easy to please God, but it is impossible to please this world!
If you constantly worry about "what the world will say," you will never be able to focus your mind upon God.
👉 Therefore, simply perform your duties (Karma), and do not concern yourself with the criticisms of others.
