शुक्र होने से व्यक्ति अमीर हो, यह जरूरी नहीं है। वास्तव में, वह व्यक्ति जिस कुल या घर में जन्म लेता है, उस घर की स्थिति के मुकाबले में उसका रहन-सहन ऊँचे स्तर का होता है और उसकी आमदनी के स्रोत भी अपने की बहुत तीव्र इच्छा होती है और शुक्र ग्रह अपने आपमें संपतिदायक मह है जो जीवन में सुख तथा शानो-शौकत से रहने की संभावना पैदा करता है। यही वजह है कि वृष लग्न में शुक्र होने पर, बहुत संपत्ति न मिले, तो भी जीवन सुखपूर्वक बिताने के लिए पर्याप्त धन जरूर मिलता है और व्यक्ति बहुत सीमा तक अपने जीवन के स्तर को परिवार के मुकाबले में ऊँचा करता है व उसके अपने जीवन में उन्नति के अवसर बढ़ते हैं। वृष लग्न में शुक्न किसी-न-किसी हद तक उसका प्रभाव उसकी आमदनी पर बुरा ही पड़ेगा। लाल किताब में, पहले घर में शुक्र होने की हालत में कहा गया है कि यदि उस व्यक्ति के सातवें और दसवें घर में कोई मह न हो तो पच्चीसवें साल में शादी होने की हालत में, न उसका धन रहता है और न स्त्री जिंदा रहती है। यहाँ जरूरी नहीं कि स्त्री जीवित नहीं रहेगी, किंतु स्त्री के अपने लिए सुख में बहुत भारी कमी हो जाएगी। लाल किताब में ही शुक्र को इस हालत के बारे में कहा गया है कि यदि कुंडली में सातवें घर में राहु हो तो उस व्यक्ति की स्त्री की दिमागी या शारीरिक हालत अच्छी नहीं होती और साथ ही उसकी गृहस्थी जलती मिट्टी के समान होगी। देखने में तो सब कुछ होगा किंतु अंत में ऐसी हालत होगी जैसे किसी जमींदार की पकी हुई खेती में आग लगी हुई हो। लाल किताब में विशेषतौर से कहा गया है कि वह व्यक्ति दिमागी तौर पर दूसरी स्त्रियों के प्रति विशेष रुबि रखता है, किंतु व्यक्ति को अपने जीवन में इस तरह की रुचि से कभी कोई हानि नहीं होगी। यहाँ शुक्र व्यक्ति को और प्रकार के सुख तो देता ही है. परंतु सवारी-वाहन का सुख उसे विशेष तौर से प्राप्त होता है। कहने का तात्पर्य है कि अपनी घरेलू स्थिति के अनुसार उसे शीघ्र ही सवारी का सुख होगा या उसको अच्छी सवारी मिलने की संभावनाएँ बहुत प्रबल होंगी। मेरा अपना विचार है कि वृष लग्न में शुक्र होने की हालत में उस व्यक्ति को इत्र या सेंट आदि का प्रयोग जरूर करना चाहिए। इससे शुक्र की शुभता में और अधिक वृद्धि होती है। यदि लग्न में शक्र के साथ बृहस्पति हो तो व्यक्ति जंगल में भी इज्जत प्राप्त कर लेता है। लेकिन उसके जीवन में पिता के रहते उसका भाग्य पूरी तरह से उदय नहीं हो पाता। शायद इसका कारण यह है कि बहस्पति और शुक्र आपस में मित्र पह नहीं हैं, इसीलिए ऐसा कहा गया है। लग्न में में शुक्र के साथ सूर्य का योग बहुत अच्छा नहीं
