ज्योतिषी भाग्यराज गुप्त की ओर से हयग्रीव जयंती की हार्दिक शुभकामनाएँ।हयग्रीव जयंती 2026 पौराणिक कथा - पौराणिक कथा के अनुसार, एक बार भगवान विष्णु मां लक्ष्मी को देखकर मंद-मंद मुस्कुरा रहे थे. मां लक्ष्मी को लगा कि भगवान विष्णु उनका उपहास कर रहे हैं. जिसके बाद उन्होनें भगवान को श्राप दिया कि उनका सिर, धड़ से अलग हो जाए. कहते हैं कि इस श्राप में भगवान की लीला ही थी. एक दिन भगवान विष्णु योगनिद्रा में थे. वे युद्ध के उपरांत थके हुए थे. उन्होंने धनुष की प्रत्यंचा चढ़ाई और उस पर सिर रखकर सो गए. दूसरी ओर हयग्रीव नामक असुर महामाया को अपने तप से प्रसन्न करने में सफल रहा. उसने मां महामाया से अमरता का वरदान मांगा. जिस पर महामाया ने कहा कि जो जन्म लिया है, उसकी मृत्यु निश्चित है, इसलिए कोई दूसरा वर मांगो. तब उसने महामाया के कहा का आप मुझे यह वरदान दें कि उसके मृत्यु किसी हयग्रीव से ही हो सके. मां महामाया उसे वर देकर चली गईं. असुर ने सोचा कि वह अपना वध क्यों करेगा. इस प्रकार वह खुद को असर समझने लगा. जिसके बाद वह अत्याचार करने लगा. उसने ब्रह्मा जी से भी सभी वेद छीन लिया. जिसके बाद ब्रह्म देव भी परेशान हो गए. उन्होंने भगवान विष्णु को योगनिद्रा से जगाने के लिए एक कीड़े को भेजा. कीड़े ने भगवान विष्णु के धनुष की प्रत्यंचा काट दी. जिस वजह से भयानक आवाज हुई और भगवान विष्णु का सिर कट गया और फिर देखते-देखते वह सिर विलुप्त हो गया. महामाया के कहने पर ब्रह्मा जी ने एक घोड़े का मस्तक काट कर विष्णु जी के धड़ से जोड़ दिया. जिसके बाद भगवान विष्णु का हयग्रीव अवतार हुआ. इस अवतार में भगवान विष्णु असुर हयग्रीव से युद्ध करने लगे. उन्होंने उस असुर का वध कर दिया और वेदों को ब्रह्मा जी को सौंप दिया.

Goddess Lakshmi felt that Lord Vishnu was mocking her. Following this, she cursed Lord Vishnu that his head would be severed from his torso. It is said that this curse was part of the Lord's divine play. One day, Lord Vishnu was in yogic sleep. He was tired after a battle. He strung his bow and rested his head on it. On the other hand, an asura named Hayagriva succeeded in pleasing Mahamaya with his penance. He asked for the boon of immortality from Mother Mahamaya. To this, Mahamaya said that whoever is born is destined to die, so ask for another boon. Then, he said to Mahamaya to grant him the boon that his death could only occur at the hands of another Hayagriva. Mother Mahamaya granted him the boon and departed. The asura thought, "Why would he kill himself?" In this way, he began to consider himself invincible. Following this, he started committing atrocities. He even snatched all the Vedas from Brahma Ji. After this, Brahma Dev also became troubled. He sent a worm to awaken Lord Vishnu from his yogic sleep. The worm cut the string of Lord Vishnu's bow. Due to this, there was a terrible sound, and Lord Vishnu's head was severed and then vanished in an instant. Upon Mahamaya's instruction, Brahma Ji cut off the head of a horse and attached it to Vishnu's torso. After this, Lord Vishnu's Hayagriva avatar manifested. In this incarnation, Lord Vishnu began to fight the asura Hayagriva. He killed the asura and handed over the Vedas to Brahma Ji.
