नाग पंचमी की हार्दिक शुभकामनाएँ:

भगवान कृष्ण ने कालिया नाग को परास्त किया, और यह महसूस करने के बाद कि कृष्ण कोई साधारण बालक नहीं थे, साँप और उनकी पत्नियों ने उनके जीवन की भीख माँगी। कृष्ण ने उनसे यह वादा किया कि वह अब गोकुल के निवासियों को परेशान नहीं करेंगे, जिसके बाद उन्होंने उनकी जान बख्श दी। नाग पंचमी कालिया नाग पर कृष्ण की जीत का जश्न मनाने के लिए मनाई जाती है। नाग पंचमी हिन्दुओं का एक प्रमुख त्योहार है। हिन्दू पंचांग के अनुसार सावन माह की कृष्ण पक्ष के पंचमी को नाग पंचमी के रूप में मनाया जाता है। इस दिन नाग देवता या सर्प की पूजा की जाती है और उन्हें दूध से स्नान कराया जाता है। लेकिन कहीं-कहीं दूध1 पिलाने की परम्परा चल पड़ी है।2 कहा जाता है कि सांपों और शिवलिंग पर दूध और चावल चढ़ाने से आने वाली सभी विपत्तियों से राहत मिलती है । शास्त्रों में भगवान शिव को गले में सर्प धारण करते हुए भी देखा जा सकता है। शिव के चारों ओर तीन कुंडलियाँ भूत, वर्तमान और भविष्य का संकेत हैं। एक चौपाई लें और उसे नए कपड़े से ढक दें। इसके बाद चौपाई पर नाग देवता की तस्वीर या मूर्ति रखें। मूर्ति के बगल में, एक तेल का दीपक जलाएं (अधिमानतः दाहिनी ओर)। अब आपको सच्ची श्रद्धा से पूजा करने का संकल्प लेना होगा; आप सभी को नाग पंचमी की बहुत-बहुत शुभकामनाएँ, जो दिव्य आशीर्वाद और सभी नकारात्मकताओं से सुरक्षा से भरी हो। सर्प देवता और भगवान शिव की कृपा हमेशा आप पर बनी रहे। - ज्योतिषी भाग्यराज गुप्त।
